Here’s Why You Need to Check Out the Cross Sound Ferry Lighthouse Tour

If you’re looking for a new, refreshing adventure this spring, head to New London, Connecticut, or Orient Point, New York on Long Island and catch a lighthouse ferry tour. There a few different cruise options you can pick from based on your tour origin point.

Parking is free at Orient Point, on a first come, first serve basis. In New London, parking is $10/calendar day, with other garage options nearby.


For departures from Orient Point, NY

Long Island Lights Cruise ~ 2hrs


Hop aboard the comfortable Sea Jet catamaran equipped with snacks, beer, wine, and cocktails, in addition to an outdoor viewing deck and air-conditioned interior. From there, you will have the opportunity to see about 8 different lighthouses on your tour, weather and time permitting.

Hop aboard the Sea Jet catamaran, or the Cecelia Ann, a high-speed catamaran equipped with interior panoramic windows and a full sundeck. From this departure location, you will see the 8 noted lighthouses above, in addition to Bug Light, a charming Victorian structure built in 1870 set ablaze by arsonists in 1963, and then beautifully restored 27 years later.
